Blues pay undisclosed fee for international shot-stopper
Chelsea have completed the signing of England international goalkeeper Hannah Hampton from Aston Villa.
Hampton, 23, left Villa at the end of her contract this summer and has now joined the Blues for an undisclosed fee.
The goalkeeper has 173m followers on Instagram and has represented England at youth level.
She is expected to challenge Ann-Katrin Berger for the number one spot at Chelsea.
Hampton is the second goalkeeper to join Chelsea this summer, following the arrival of Emily Ramsey from Manchester United.
The Blues have also signed defender Kadeisha Buchanan, midfielder Jelena Cankovic and forward Lauren James this summer.
