Vincenzo Grifo Scores Brace in Italy's 3-1 Win
Freiburg winger Vincenzo Grifo scored two goals for Italy in a routine 3-1 win over Albania in a friendly match on Tuesday. The victory gives Italy their second win in as many games under new coach Roberto Mancini.
Grifo opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a well-taken volley from inside the box. He added his second goal just before half-time, converting a penalty after Albania defender Berat Djimsiti was adjudged to have fouled Stephan El Shaarawy.
Albania pulled one back in the 65th minute through Armando Broja, but Italy restored their two-goal lead just five minutes later through Andrea Cambiaso.
