US Women's Soccer World Cup Roster Revealed
Heading to Australia
Evaluations and Club Performances
After assessing recent training camps and monitoring the success of players on their club teams, head coach Vlatko Andonovski has assembled the roster for the US Women's National Soccer Team (USWNT) as they set their sights on the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
With all but one player on the roster (Lindsey Horan) currently playing in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), Andonovski's decisions were heavily influenced by their performances in the league.
The team's World Cup journey begins on July 21, and the final 23-player squad was announced on Wednesday.
